AMRT Study Modules: The S520 in 7 Units
Seven structured modules mirroring the ANSI/IICRC S520 standard
These AMRT study modules break the ANSI/IICRC S520 Standard for Professional Mold Remediation into seven focused units that follow the way the Applied Microbial Remediation Technician exam actually tests. Each unit isolates one area — Conditions 1, 2 and 3; mold biology and health effects; containment and engineering controls; PPE and safety; remediation and cleaning methods; moisture and inspection; and verification and documentation — and works through the definitions, calculations and field decisions behind the questions.
Lessons are written in plain restoration language, with worked examples such as sizing a negative air machine to a target of four air changes per hour and comparing readings to a dry standard before closing a wall. Knowledge checks at the end of each lesson flag weak spots early, and the ordering matches the flow of a live AMRT class, so classroom students can use the modules to reinforce lectures while self-study candidates work start to finish at their own pace.
Remember that AMRT has a prerequisite: you need IICRC WRT first, which you can prepare for at WRTTraining.com. Modules are included with membership alongside the practice exam simulator, flashcards and mold calculators. New to the credential?
